Mina: Okay, the club poster is nearly ready. I put the draft in the group chat yesterday, and I thought everyone had seen it. But now the messages sound like the final file is already there.

Arman: Wait, I might have missed it. I saw people saying, “Looks good,” so I assumed the attachment went through. Did you send the poster as a file, or only as a message?

Mina: I sent the message, but maybe the attachment did not go through. Can you check the chat again? If it did not send properly, I’ll resend it right now.

Arman: I’m checking now. No, I can see your text, but not the file. That explains everything. So when everyone replied, they were talking about a poster they couldn’t actually open.

Mina: That makes sense. I should have asked, “Did you get the attachment?” before assuming. Sorry about that. I’ll send the correct version again, and I’ll name the file clearly too.

Arman: Good idea. Maybe call it something simple like school club poster final. Then people can confirm the version quickly. You know, one small check can save a lot of confusing replies.

Mina: Exactly. I’m resending it now. If it still does not go through, I’ll upload it as a new file and say, “This is the latest version.”

Arman: That works. And maybe we should reply only after checking the attachment, not just the message. Otherwise, we end up agreeing with a file we never received.

Mina: True. I keep forgetting that in group chats, the message and the file are not always the same thing. Next time, I’ll ask for confirmation before I react.

Arman: Perfect. So the rule is: check the attachment, confirm the version, and then reply. That way, everyone stays on the same page, and nobody guesses.

Mina: Agreed. I’ve just sent it again. Can you tell the others to look for the new version and let me know once they’ve got it?
